The Al-Bustan has long held the mantle of Oman’s most luxurious hotel, not surprisingly as it was originally designed to host the first Gulf Cooperation Council summit in 1985, accommodating rulers from around the region. The same fusion of traditional arts and architecture with an elegant modern twist has survived the many renovations undergone since then. Now a Ritz-Carlton hotel, The Al-Bustan offers spacious rooms with strong Arabian influence in the design and the full amenities you’d expect from Ritz-Carlton, a huge private beach, several pools, and some absolutely first-rate restaurants.
Please note that the Al Bustan is currently closed for renovation, due to reopen in early September 2018. However the reopening has already been postponed three times, so we are not 100% confident that the September date is entirely set in stone.
